Corin Nemec's name comes from his nickname, Corky, given to him as a child by his grandmother. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. His acting career started on the television series Webster (1983) with the character of Nicky Papadapolis and Sidekicks (1986). He then got a part in the film Tucker: The Man and His Dream (1988), directed by Francis Ford Coppola, followed by lead roles in I Know My First Name Is Steven (1989) and My Son Johnny (1991), and the lead role in the TV series Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1990). He was the first to play the role of Harold Lauder in Stephen King’s The Stand (1994). More recently Corin can be seen alongside Jared Pedalecki and Jensen Ackles in the very successful CW TV Series Supernatural as the cousin of the boys Christian Campbell, as well as in the Sci-Fi series Stargate SG1 as Jonas Quinn. Corin has a very longstanding career playing characters from all types of genres including comedy, sci-fi, action, and horror.
